ABOUT THE TEAM:
top of page

PSV Union FC 93G Gold is a high level U17 girls soccer team which features some of the highest level players in the region. The team will train and play through the summer.

Our emphasis is on high-level instruction and a serious and competitive, yet fun, training environment for dedicated players who want to learn to play at a higher level. We have an excellent group of players who are very committed and share a passion for the game.

The team receives many requests from interested players to tryout or join. True to PSV Union FC policy of loyalty to the players and the philosophy of player development over player recruitment, every player is given the opportunity to meet the ever increasing higher standards which the coaching staff and competition presents.

The 93G (U17 team) epitomizes what PSV Union FC represents: Continuous improvement at practice and at games. The secret to the teams continued success is that the same amount of emphasis is placed on developing technique (passing, dribbling, shooting, control) and tactical understanding and developing an interest and passion for learning than it does into winning games. The end result is winning is a bi-product of this philosophy. This team is a great example to others. The players work hard, accept new and difficult challenges, show great resolve and determination and enjoys being pushed to new levels. Each player on the team is always being considered to guest with the a top local woman's soccer team in the area which features former collegiate, professional and National Team players which allows them tremendous development opportunities.

This is a year-round team, playing in the Fall (Aug-Nov) and Spring (Mar-May) leagues, and training and friendly games as well as NorCal Cup. We also train and play tournaments in the summer (June-July). Most of the players on the team will play high caliber collegiate soccer.

Recently these college women's soccer programs held ID Camps, hosted by PSV Union FC, that the 93G players particpated in: Univ. San Francisco, USC, Univ. of Chicago, St. Mary's,

Most players also spend an additional day per week training in small groups and individually. Small Groups for this team will be conducted on Tuesdays with occasional additional/optional sessions on the weekend.

The team will participate in the US Club National Cup in Modesto from June 18-21.
