The PSV Union FC '01 Boys is a team which features of some of the best players on the peninsula. We are currently seeking committed, enthusiastic players and families to join this roster.

PSV Union is one of the most successful soccer clubs on the Peninsula. Utilizing our highly commended, proven coaching methods and experienced, professional coaching staff we are building on the major success we have achieved with the existing teams.

Like many of our young teams in the club in the past, they are playing against older players in their formative years.

While this is difficult in terms of achieving favorable match results, it is, on the other hand, beneficial for the players/teams long and short term development. All players 10 years and younger play 8v8 in league play. The jump to 11 v 11 on full-size fields does not occur until spring in the U/11 age group. At some point in the next few years, the team may play back in their own age group so its likely that they will be playing U/9 for the next few years.

PSV Union FC offers an environment that gives young players the best opportunity to develop their skills and joy of the game without the pressure to win at all costs. Our goal is long term development and we look for players who love the game, are dedicated to learning and want to improve.

PSV Union FC believes that any player regardless of age if they show ability and dedication to the game should have the opportunity to play on an older/upper level team in order to challenge each player and provide valuable learning experiences. The PSV Union FC philosophy is unique for our local area as all players are members of the club and not individual teams. This model, which is not unique to high level clubs, allows us to bring out the best in all of the players.
