Union FC Supports the Julie Foudy
Sports Leadership Academy

June 13, 2007 - Union FC announced today thier full support of the Julie Foudy Leadership Academy. For the summer of 2007, the academy again will be on the East Coast and this year they start a NEW Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy this in CHICAGO and a NEW West Coast site, St Mary's College, in Moraga, CA (July 29- August 3).

The JFSLA is a five-night, six-day residential Academy for girls ages 12-18. The Academy focusespeddie on two overlapping components-- sports and leadership. The aim of the JFSLA is to expose students to Julie’s great passion: the concept of not just being a leader on the field but a LEADER IN LIFE. Students will be immersed in a richly enjoyable curriculum that weaves these two themes together.
